Pastel colours for spring

Pastel colours are very fashionable this season so today I am sharing with you some of my favourite spring pieces featuring these colours.

This coral/peach chiffon dress is so beautiful and is a perfect dress for any occasion. It is from Dorothy Perkins and is currently on sale for only £10!!!! For me the length is perfect falling just above my knees and the embellishment around the neckline is beautiful so I wouldn't bother with a necklace. Paired with some silver sandals this would make a perfect spring outfit. 

 

This lilac and lace dress from Topshop is ultra feminine, I love the texture of the lace over the purple slip. I would add a belt to add more definition to the waist and break up the pattern slightly.

This is a pricey item at £48 but if you are student you would get 20% off which lowers the price slightly.

I would pair this dress with these lilac platforms also from topshop to dress up the outfit.

 

Pastel jeans are a big trend and these ones from Zara are gorgeous. They are a beautiful creamy coral/pink and are the perfect jeans for Spring. They cost £39.99 which isn't overly expensive, they also come in an acid yellow colour or a burnt red/orange. I would pair these with a baggy white tee to make this a comfy spring outfit.

 

I have been wanting a pair of lace shorts for ages and this pair from New Look tick all the boxes.

They are a beautiful peach colour and are slightly high-waisted which is another big trend. They cost £19.99 so are a great price. This coral/peach colour also looks amazing on olive/dark skin tones.

creme de la femme

Hi everyone,

Today I am talking about my new favourite lipstick. Creme de la femme by MAC.

I've only had it a couple of days so it will be featured in my upcoming beauty haul on my youtube channel.

This is a frost lipstick which I think can sometimes be a bit drying on the lips but its nothing a bit of vaseline underneath can't sort out.

It is a mid to bright pink with a lavender undertone. It has alot of gold shimmer which gives it the frosty finish. It is very opaque and applies quite smoothly.

On the lips it is the perfect colour for a hint of pink, it's not too pale but it's not in your face!

It lasted a really long time which is good as MAC lipsticks are expensive!

I really love this lipstick and it will be my go to spring/summer shade. The gold shimmer is really beautiful when it catches the light. I would definitely recommend swatching it next time you're at a MAC counter or you can purchase it online here.

Spring Fashion Picks

Hi everyone, spring is right around the corner and today I am going to share with you my top very affordable fashion picks all from New Look.

   

I love adding a pop of colour to my outfit and I think shoes are a great way of doing this. All these shoes are around £20 so they are very inexpensive. You can view them here.

Maxi dresses and maxi skirts are back again and I love this one as it can be worn casual or it could easily be dressed up. I tried this one on instore and I am really tempted to purchase it as the detail around the straps is gorgeous and it is very flattering. You can purchase it here for only £19.99!!!

A pair of shorts are essential for any spring/summer wardrobe and these are perfect. The high-waist it very on trend and this gorgeous blue colour would be perfect for colour blocking or adding a pop of colour to your outfit. To me this top screams spring, the light chiffon material with a delicate floral print looks really girly and feminine. I love the tie detail at the waist. This would look great paired over lightwash jeans and some brown wedges. It's £19.99 so quite expensive for a top but I really love it and it's something I would get alot of use from. No spring outfit would be complete without a cute bag. In spring/summer I don't like lugging around a 2 ton suitcase so I tend to go for small satchel type things. I love the colour of this, minty teal colours are very in so this is bang on trend. It also comes in a dark blue and tan brown colour. You can view them here. For only £9.99 they are a fantastic deal so I would recommend getting your hands on them as I can see them flying off the shelves.

BARGAIN ALERT!!!

Hi everyone,

As you all know brands like MAC, Urban Decay and CHANEL never go on sale. Because there is such a high demand for their great quality products there is never a need for promotions or discounts.

However, Debenhams are having a promotion on their entire site as they have just launched all their spring collections. Their whole beauty/makeup section is having a 10% sale!!!

It's not much but as high end makeup is ridiculously expensive every little helps.

Also, if you have a Debenhams beauty card you get 500 bonus points if you spend £40 on beauty!!

I'm so glad I finished project ten pan today, I will definitely be making a few purchases.

4 Penny Nails!!!!

Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been pretty busy the past week.

Anyway a month or so ago I was aimlessly passing the time in Primark (as you do) and spotted a new beauty product offering. 

False Nails. 

At only a pound a pop you can't go wrong. They had four or five different patterns but I opted for these navy ones with white polka dots.

I didn't have high hopes for these as an average set of false nails is around the £7 mark.

These are amazing!!!!

Hand on heart I can say they are the best false nails I have ever tried. They are the perfect size, I didn't have to file any of them down and they are also the perfect length. I find many false nails are really long which makes them look obviously fake. 

With these they look like natural nails with a cute design. 

What more can you want???

They come in a pack of 24 with glue so it works out about 4pence a nail!! It's Crazy!!!

I highly recommend these and next time i'm in Primark I will be definitely stocking up. 

For £1 you can't go wrong!!!
